From burnout to balance: how to incorporate Sophrology into your travels

In a world that never stops scrolling, flying, or striving, Dominique Antiglio is inviting us to pause. The founder of BeSophro and a pioneer of modern Sophrology — a mind-body practice often dubbed “meditation for people who can’t meditate”— Antiglio blends clinical expertise with the elegance of intuition. With over two decades of experience and a cult-followed community, she’s redefining what it means to truly rest, especially for those constantly on the move.

Now, thanks to an exclusive partnership to celebrate the launch of the Wellbeing Collection, SLH Club Members can access the BeSophro membership during their stays — transforming travel time into a chance to reset, recharge, and reconnect. From conquering flight anxiety to easing jet lag, Antiglio’s method is less about escaping life and more about arriving fully into it.

In today’s fast-paced world, especially for frequent travellers, Sophrology is a great tool to manage stress, find calm, and reset — wherever you are.

Can you share a quick bedtime Sophrology technique that SLH Club Members could try tonight — whether they’re in Tokyo or Tuscany?

One of my favourite techniques before bed is to practice a full Body Scan. It’s a simple but effective way to ease physical tension and quiet a busy mind before sleep. Simply lie down, breathe gently, and bring your attention to different parts of the body — slowly moving from your feet to your head — releasing any tightness or leftover energy from the day.

We’ve created an exclusive version of this practice for SLH Club Members. Just sign-up or log-in to your SLH Club account to access this exclusive offer from BeSophro membership.
