SLH Manifest Masterclasses: find your holiday headspace at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay

Meditate your way to new heights on Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay’s rooftop with Roxie Nafousi

Setting aside the island’s reputation for up-beat beach bars and wild club nights, Ibiza paints a pretty picture of whitewashed finca, blooming bougainvillaea, pastel-coloured fishermen’s huts, and rugged headlands which hide hundreds of tiny coves. There is a softer side to the White Isle if you know where to look, which is fast becoming a wellness destination in its own right. Tapping into the island’s natural beauty and healing powers, the blissfully beautiful rooftop at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay will play host to a series of wellness workshops this summer, set against a Balearic backdrop of soul-soothing sunsets, crashing waves, and endless blue views across Talamanca Bay.

Celebrating the start of the summer solstice – a celestial event which is said to represent the transition from action to nourishment – emotional health advisor Roxie Nafousi is leading her first SLH Manifest Masterclass this June as the sun starts to set over Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay. The author of the best-selling book Manifest aims to leave attendees with life-changing advice, alongside inspiring, motivating and empowering them on their self-development journeys. While Roxie regularly hosts an array of workshops and webinars on self-love, relationships, careers, and the power of manifestation, this will be her first class dedicated to stepping outside of your comfort zone. The evening sessions will include a guided meditation and visualisation session focused on transcending comfort zones, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Taking place on the 20th – 21st June 2022 between 7.45pm – 9.45pm each evening, the masterclasses will be free to attend.

Roxie Nafousi

Ibiza holds a special place in Roxie’s heart, as a destination which the self-development coach has visited every year (pandemic permitting!) since she was 17 years old. “It’s the only place I have consistently visited throughout my adult life, and I can’t miss a year there, because as soon as I get off the plane I feel very at home. When you’ve been going somewhere for so many years, you really see your own evolution through that place. The way that I have experienced Ibiza has evolved and changed so much over the years, from my early to mid-twenties when I was living a very hedonistic lifestyle, to when I went last year which was the first time that I had gone as a new version of myself, without any addiction, and feeling really grounded in myself. I didn’t party hard or drink alcohol, I just explored the little beautiful beaches, soaked up the glorious sunshine, went for a Tarot reading, and just had the most incredible time by experiencing this special island in a new way as a grown-up who lives and breathes the practice of manifestation.”

By day, guests at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay can make the most of the hotel’s prime position on the quieter side of the island where you’re only ever just steps away from the sea – spend a sun-drenched afternoon lounging poolside on a Bali bed nibbling on Bento Boxes from the sashimi-serving Nobu Restaurant, tuck into freshly caught seafood at Chambao, the hotel’s toes-in-the-sand chiringuito beach restaurant, or unwind in the Six Senses Spa with a beach cabana massage listening to the waves lapping the white sandy shore. The hotel has also partnered with Ibiza Hike Station to guide guests off-the-beaten-track to some of the island’s lesser-known scenic spots, while unplugging from their digital devices for a back-to-nature recharge. If you’re ready to take your White Isle wellbeing up a notch, highlights throughout The Rooftop Summer Series include…

Awakening Creativity Show

Get in touch with your creative side with a live painting show to ignite the imagination and transform a blank canvas into a piece of art. The session is in collaboration with Paloma Mensajera – an Ibiza-based painter, ceramicist and mastermind behind the island’s Atelier 74 creative laboratory, and Gitte Spinder – a visual artist who uses video projections inspired by the feminine expression. The interactive show will be accompanied by an intimate acoustic concert and inventive cocktails on the 19th July 2022. Tickets cost £34 for non-hotel guests and is free to attend for Nobu residents.

Female Empowerment Evening

Discover the role of women in art and their natural creative power led by activist, Klaudia Oliver who uses art, culture, community and unique experiences to create positive change. The evening ends with a magical live concert by Argentinian Paloma del Cerro – singer, composer and producer – whose music is a hybrid of traditional Latin American folklore and electronic music. Taking place on the 16th August 2022, tickets cost £43 for non-hotel guests and is free to attend for Nobu residents.

Sound Bathing

The Alchemy Journey, founded by sound healing expert Christina Jade, uses a unique blend of breathwork and electronic music followed by the soothing sounds of Alchemy Crystal Singing bowls. Individuals are guided on a path of self-discovery and enter a blissful state of consciousness. Designed to nurture the mind, body and soul, the sound bath uses vibrations to encourage a feeling of deep relaxation and help re-align our bodies and nervous system. Each one-hour session includes a health shot on arrival and a Classic Nobu Bento Box. Available between the 29th June – 27th August 2022, prices start at £56 per person.
