Here, we handpick some of the world’s hottest new hotels – from a slick city centre retreat in buzzing Brussels, to a beach-hut style Mexican resort on Tulum’s sandy shores. The latest swoon-worthy additions to SLH will have you reaching for your passport…

1. Juliana Hotel Brussels, Brussels – Belgium

Perfectly placed on the historical Place des Martyrs in Brussels, Juliana Hotel officially opened its doors in September last year – but this stylish newcomer has already made quite the name for itself as an urban bolthole for ‘bleisure’ travellers. Behind the white façade of the listed neo-classical building lie 43 individually designed rooms and suites, an Italian-inspired fine-dining restaurant and a wellness centre. Italian designer Eugenio Manzoni leans into the rich heritage of the property, layering all floors with rare pieces from the hotel owner’s private collection. Exquisite motifs meet one-of-a-kind sculptures and dramatic wallpaper to create an elegant space. This autumn, the hotel will offer a series of exclusive private tours where guests can immerse themselves in the stories of five of the city’s treasured landmarks, including the Opera House and The Grand Place.[/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”17534″ image_size=”full” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

2. ON Residence, Thessaloniki – Greece

With Greece’s second-largest city on your doorstep, you’re spoilt for choice at ON Residence – a waterfront mansion with dazzling Aegean Sea views. Inside, Neoclassical details blend with modern comforts in a minimalist palette of muted greys, greens, and soft pinks. Several of the Junior Suites come with seafront balconies, while a select few rooms boast Oriel windows. Named after the initials of the hotel’s celebrated restaurant, Olympos Naoussa, ON Residence is the perfect gateway to Greek food, culture, and the mesmerising melting pot of Thessaloniki. The iconic dining destination has been reimagined with floor-to-ceiling windows, dark green leather alcoves, and an ornate tiled floor, while the Tiger Loop bar serves up refreshing cocktails with an Asian twist and a very moreish brunch.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

3. CPH Pevero Hotel, Sardinia – Italy

Terracotta rooftops, glimpsed between emerald green trees. Icing sugar sand fringing Sardinia’s turquoise sea. Arriving at CPH Pevero Hotel is a little like stepping onto an artist’s palette. This elegant retreat enjoys one of the island’s most beautiful addresses in Porto Cervo, on the canvas-like coastline of Costa Smeralda. With five lagoon-like swimming pools criss-crossed with waterfalls, CPH Pevero Hotel is a water lover’s paradise – plus the white sands of Piccolo Pevero, where exclusive beach chairs, parasols and never-lift-a-finger service creates beachside bliss, are just a few steps away. On the other is Grande Pevero, an all-white arc of sand which is sheltered by rocky dunes, perfect for yacht-watching in the distance.[/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”17545″ image_size=”full” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][/vc_column_inner][image_with_animation image_url=”17546″ image_size=”full” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][image_with_animation image_url=”17547″ image_size=”full” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

4. Lupaia, Tuscany – Italy

Formerly a working farm, Lupaia is a gorgeous, sustainably-focused agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany. The country estate dates back to 1622 and has 12 unique rooms and suites spread over five rural farmhouse buildings. Rustic yet luxurious, they feature cloud-like beds and modern walk-in showers paired with traditional tiles, exposed brick, bleached wood, and ornate antique furnishings. The open, tile-backed kitchen has a ‘whatever you want, whenever you want’ serving style, where guests are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and cook Italian classics alongside the chefs – with no set meal times or menus. Relaxation is the order of the day, where splendid views of medieval villages, vineyards and olive groves of Montepulciano can be enjoyed at every turn.[/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”17548″ image_size=”full” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

5. TAGO Tulum, Tulum – Mexico

Set on a private stretch of white beaches in Mexico’s Quintana Roo, TAGO Tulum beautifully blends in with the verdant jungle backdrop and balmy beach paradise. There’s palm-shaded relaxation and round-the-clock service, with design touches showcasing back-to-nature luxury. Thatched roofs and authentic Mayan stone give this chic retreat a laidback, beach-hut style, where guests can awake to the sound of the crashing surf, followed by a soothing soak in their private plunge pool, a feature available in all 23 rooms. The TAGO restaurant fuses Yucatán ingredients with international classics. Off-premises, snorkelling in the magical Gran Cenote, jungle exploration and tours of the ancient Mayan ruins await.[/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”17549″ image_size=”full” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][divider line_type=”No Line”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
