Juliet Kinsman has spent two and a half decades as a journalist and broadcaster talking about the world’s most special places in which to spend time. In 2020 she was appointed Condé Nast’s first-ever Sustainability Editor, and she published her book 'The Green Edit: Travel, Easy Tips for the Eco-Friendly Traveller’ (Ebury), the ideal companion to hoteliers, travel agents and holidaymakers hoping to make travels a stronger force for good. Founding editor of Mr & Mrs Smith and author of Louis Vuitton City Guides, today luxury to her means design-led hotels having a positive impact which celebrates through BOUTECO (a portmanteau of boutique and eco), her sustainability consultancy to help award-winning brands stand for something and stand out for it. As Bouteco, she has helped create sustainable design-led hotel brands and produced intelligent, inspiring stories and films including a documentary on the importance of educating women in remote rural areas.
